House Rules

  1. Closing Time: 10:30pm. Latecomers – just ring up. Prior advice to the landlady for coming later than
    closing time is recommended for security reasons.
  2. Visitors:  No Visitors are allowed inside the room.  Direct family members maybe allowed provided they
    could not in any way disturb other boarders.  Visitors must be entertained at the visitor’s lounge or at the
    cafeteria.
  3. Cooking: Cooking full meal food is generally discouraged and not advice for safety reasons.
  4. Smoking:  Smoking inside room is absolutely prohibited but allowed at the cafeteria and visitor’s lounge
    anytime.
  5. Drinking:  Drinking hard drinks or liquor is not allowed inside the room but allowed at the cafeteria with
    prior permission.
  6. Cleanliness:  All rooms are provided with soft broom, waste basket and dust pan for use by the boarders.
    Collected trash must be inside plastic bag and deposited, daily or as necessary, into the “waste bin” at
    the cafeteria.  Room cleaning by dorm helper is scheduled is every Saturday.
  7. Silence:  All boarders are advice to observe tolerable level of noise in order not to disturb other boarders.
  8. Security:  For proper monitoring, everyone is requested to advice the landlady of her whereabouts
    specially when going for long period of time or out of town.
  9. Computer/Internet:  Boarders are allowed free use of the computer for 2hrs/month. Succeeding hour will
    be charged accordingly.
  10. Wi-Fi/Laptops:  Boarders with laptops will be charged 100.00 PhP/month for electrical use.  Wi-fi is FREE.
  11. Telephone:  PhP 5.00 for all outgoing/incoming calls for boarders.
  12. Lights:  All lights must be turned off when not in use
  13. Electric Fans: Every boarder is allowed to bring and use her own small desk fan for FREE.  All other
    electrical appliances will be charged accordingly.
  14. Laundry:  Washing machines are provided for use by the boarders with minimal fee.  See landlady for
    rate.

  16. Boarding  Fee:  Upon occupancy, boarder must pay one month advance boarding fee and PhP 1,000.00
    deposit.  Deposit is not convertible to boarding fee.   Succeeding monthly boarding fee must be paid
    within first 5 days from date of occupancy.
  17. Complaints:  Complains of any nature will be entertained by the landlady anytime.
  18. Damages:  Any damage to facilities and/or accessories inside room must be reported immediately to the
    landlady for proper action.
  19. Graffiti/Attachments:  All boarders are advised not to attached, paste, write, paint, affix and/or nail anything
    on the wall or any part of the room.  Please inform the landlady for any additional attachments that you
    may need. A “My Space” board is provided above all beds for boarders to place/hang/paste (no nails and
    screws allowed) all their papemelroti.
  20. Maintenance:  Maintenance work maybe done anytime within the premises and affected boarders must
    cooperate when advised to transfer bed or room. Prior advice will be announced for proper scheduling.
